The goal of True Stride is to bring a hybrid of North American and European coaching styles together to create a fun yet challenging skate while pushing players outside their comfort zones. Players will develop quicker with the positive, motivating, environment. They will leave sweating and smiling excited for the next skate.

SKATING AND SKILLS
6th Annual Winter Hockey School
We are excited to announce block two of our winter hockey school. These camps build the foundational focus to help your child maximize their growth and understanding in their play. We will be running hour and half long blocks to maximize these sessions and increase athlete endurance.
10:00 am - 11:30 am 2017-2019 "Foundations"
We will cover for Skating: forwards/backwards/edge/pivots/recovery/with puck/without puck. Passing: presentation/follow through/forehand/backhand. Shooting: hand positioning/blade positioning/follow through/catch and release/forehand/backhand.
Focus: Skating/Passing/Shooting
11:30 am - 1:00 pm 2016 and Older "Gretzky Hour"
These sessions will be all skilled based stations focusing on shooting, passing and deception. The players will have a puck on their sticks for the whole duration in some capacity. Shooting: Blade positioning/follow through/catch and release/in motion/stationary/reactive/etc. Passing: Blade positioning/targeting/catch and send/indirect/direct/game practical. Puck Possession/Protection: Neutral hip/board play/open ice/underhandling.
Focus: Shooting/Passing/Puck Possession/Protection

SUMMER CAMPS 2024
Thank you for everyone who participated. This summer we had over 160 different athletes participating in our camps over July and August in Fort Erie and Pelham. This was another great summer and we are planning on offering more skill specific, position specific and foundation camps for 2025. Be ready for announcements early 2025 by being on our email list.
